Founded in 2020 by educator John Taggart, the Learning Centre began with one simple vision: to create a supportive place where students feel encouraged, capable, and inspired. From the beginning, Taggart Tutors has been about so much more than academic results. It is about fostering a caring environment that families trust — one where young people build confidence, strengthen skills, and take pride in their their progress.
In 2026, Taggart Tutors entered an exciting new chapter when Brian and Tia Berger, founders of Learning Tree Education & Coaching, were honoured to continue its journey. John’s commitment to nurturing confidence and supporting both learner wellbeing and that of their families aligned seamlessly with their own educational philosophy.
With over 20 years of combined experience in education, Brian and Tia are proud to bring their leadership and passion for learning to Brisbane families, while preserving the individualised, caring approach at the heart of Taggart Tutors.
Today, our dedicated team supports each learner as individual, helping them grow in skill, confidence, and self-belief.
